About Broadway Education Center, Inc. (BEC)
Founded in 2000, our mission is to enhance and enrich the learning experience of pupils ages 5 to 18. We strive to offer excellent education and tutoring services to students from elementary to high schools to meet their academic and developmental needs. The educational programs include: Math/English subject tutoring, S.T.E.M., college readiness program (SAT & AP test preparation and college consultation), and youth leadership development summer programs.
In year 2011, we became an education partner of MPM Math Institute to offer this unique Math learning opportunity to pupils ages 5 to 12.
In year 2012, we have affiliated with The CoolDoc., Inc. and established a Youth Leadership on Technology program (Mobile End Zone Academy) to provide an unique learning opportunity for youth pursuing academics, enrichment, employment and entrepreneurship at this very high-demand, high-reward technology venue.
About Mobile End Zone Academy (MEZA)
MEZA creates the first comprehensive, year-round technology curriculum for the youth in Southern California. Our curriculum is designed to educate and entertain youth from age 7 to 18, to supplement children's academy learning in math and physics; at the same time, to provide a smooth and fun path entering the digital economic of the future.
MEZA believes every child should have the opportunity to "become smarter" than "losing self-control in the video game". Technology brings many changes to the modern life of our children. Smart phones, social networks, and games are part of many youth's daily life. Like any forms of activities in modern society, the impact of these new activities depends on the individual traits of the kids, and how parent and school face the challenge of balancing learning and entertaining. There is no better gift than giving them the power to understand the building blocks of these technologies, and learn to be smarter in using them to better their works and open the potential of their future. Many of the high impact companies in US are started by young founders at or before their 20s. The future belongs to our children who has to tools to face the challenge. Let us unleash them!
Thomas Yeh is the founder and Chief Educator of MEZA. Thomas is also the co-founder of several start-ups, and held Engineering Executive positions in a few medical technology and media broadcasting companies. Thomas spent 15 years in running software engineering organization and is dedicated to share his vision and skills in technology and business with our community's future leaders.
